Traveling and hotels
Most hotels provide a range of amenities, some essential for the comfort of their guests and others intended to distinguish them from other accommodation options. These services vary by hotel and often have an impact on a hotel’s price.
Many hotels also offer a variety of other services to their guests including shuttle transportation in vans or minibuses (seating 24 or less) to transport guests to and from the airport, train station, car rental company or other locations at fixed intervals during a guest’s stay or upon request after check-out at the hotel. Many hotels also have a concierge service for booking tours and activities in the local area.
Guests staying in most hotels have the option to pay for additional services such as breakfast, lunch or dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. Hotels may charge a flat rate for these or offer them as part of a package deal. Alternatively, a hotel may allow guests to order food and drink from their rooms via a smartphone app or through the hotel’s website or social media platforms.
Traveling is an investment in yourself, both physically and emotionally. A trip can help you to grow and see things from a different perspective. It can also be an opportunity to eat healthy, whether you choose to shop for fresh ingredients and cook in your room or dine at restaurants that serve locally grown produce, meats and fish and home made breads.
